Jenkinses formed in 2013. The Jenkinses' calling card is A-grade rock'n'roll, played in the dancing-on-a-tightrope, edge-of-your-seat style, a wall of sound and melody that lurches precariously, without ever falling apart. Raw and refined. Caustic and sentimental. Brass knuckles in a velvet glove. High quality, hook-laden songcraft, melodies and lyrics. Jenkinses stand apart from the pack in every sense. After 2 self-produced e.p's (a self-titled effort in 2014, and the abrasive "Langered" in 2017), 2024 saw the vinyl release of the Jenkinses' full-length "Miracle Reasoning" LP, a timeless rock record that honours its old-school roots, while being unmistakeably of the present age. A third - digital only - e.p titled "Overspill" hit the streaming platforms on 15 September 2024. Since 2023, Jenkinses have been the curators of the In Your DNA club nights, which see the Jenkinses sharing 100% DIY bills with other Belgian underground rock bands, in hommage to the spirit of the mythical, and much-missed DNA bar.

Jenkinses' new album Dereliction (VP003) landed on 31 Jan 2026, and represents another step forward for these Belgo-Spanish-Irish Rock'n'Roll heroes. 10 tracks of garagey-punk rock goodness, distilled from country-blues roots, and bearing the mark of sonic scars left on planet-rock by such forebears as the Heartbreakers and Sex Pistols, without ever descending into clichés or platitudes.
